At Rainier View Christian Church, we get excited about connecting people with small groups. We call these small groups Home Fellowship Groups.

So what is a “Home Fellowship Group” anyway?

A Home Fellowship Group (HFG) is a small group of people who come together on a regular basis because of unique interests, needs or desires. The commonality in the group may be about location, age, gender, family, life interest, or service. While common ground may be as diverse as their many personalities, they all share a focused purpose: building relationships and creating a small group environment where everyone can take their next step towards God… together.

What exactly happens when these HFG’s get together? Genuine community and authentic fellowship begin as relationships develop. Strangers become friends and friends become family as time is spent together sharing, studying, praying, eating, serving, and of course… having fun!

At an HFG gathering, people ask questions and learn Biblical life principles in a safe environment among friends. As friendships develop in an HFG, fun and fellowship is the natural result, however, the true depth of these relationships is seen in the midst of a trial or crisis.

The contagious spirit of caring, giving, and serving each other is what God wants for us inside of real “community” or “fellowship.” And this comes as a result of spending regular time together pursuing God’s purpose for our lives. An HFG is a place to be real!

OK, so how do I get connected to one of these HFG’s?
