Short-Term Mission Opportunities
July 22 - July 29, 2017
This team is now complete. Please pray for the people who will be on this team to Nicaragua in 2017.
This unique trip allows RVCC parents and youth (14+) to serve alongside one another. You will get a chance to serve others as you develop life-long memories of your shared service and transformative experience. The project includes drilling a well, providing hygiene and sanitation lessons, and sharing your faith. More than that, it’s about demonstrating love for others. Many will say they do not care about your faith until they see your faith in action and experience your love and faith.
October 10-20, 2017
This team will be working with Asa and Jean Talbot and Missions of Love in Jolivert, Haiti. The tentative plan is to help the missionaries, who provide medical care for patients in the mission clinic, provide dental care, and to go on a one-day “bush” clinic in a remote mountain village. The mission clinic supports general medicine, limited restorative dentistry, basic eye care, and it is not necessary to have formal training to serve with them. There will also be opportunity to help with construction, as the mission is in the process of putting a wall around the grounds and will need help with labor and painting. The team may help with a VBS program for local children as well. Approximate cost for this trip is $1800.

Six short-term volunteers will be heading to Haus Edelweiss in the fall of 2016 to work in the areas of maintenance, hospitality, and food preparation for Session #9 at the TCM International Institute located in Heiligenkreuz, Austria. Whether this is your first mission trip or 20th, you will discover that this highly-structured short-term mission is a beautiful opportunity to serve Christ by serving and praying for church leaders from Eastern Europe and Russia who will be attending that session.
The cost of this trip is approximately $1,500-$1,700 (airfare/insurance). Room and board are provided by TCM International.
