Core Values

Outreach

We believe the primary mission of the church is to be a search and rescue team to reach lost and hurting people.

Luke 19:10; Luke 15; Jude 23; Mark 16:15-16; Matthew 28:19-20

Bible-Based

We believe the Bible is God’s authoritative Word and everything the church does should be driven by Biblical purposes rather than by traditions, programs or personalities.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12

Authenticity

We believe Christians should be authentic, demonstrate integrity, and passionately strive for a pure heart, a clear conscience, and a genuine faith.

1 Timothy 1: 5; Hebrews, 10:22; Romans 12:9

Belonging

We believe God created each of us with a longing for meaningful friendships that bring out the best in us and our conviction is that the need for life-transforming friendships is best met within a small group.

Acts 2:44-47; Galatians 6:10; Colossians 3:16

Generosity

We believe that the healthiest and most effective churches are made up of generous people who willingly give their time, money, and spiritual gifts in service to see God’s kingdom advance.

2 Corinthians 8:7 & 9:10-11; Acts 2:44-45, 11:29-30; Romans 12:6-8

Unity

We believe the church best reflects the heart of God when we submit to one another out of our love for Christ and unselfishly align our diverse gifts and backgrounds to accomplish a common mission.

Ephesians 4:3, 5:21; Romans 15:5-7; John 17:23; Psalm 133:1-2; Philippians 2:1-5

Grace-Oriented

We believe that God graciously invites all people to experience His love and acceptance, through faith in Jesus, and therefore God calls us to genuinely welcome, graciously accept, and unconditionally love all people in His name.

Ephesians 1;7-8, 2:8, 5:2; Romans 15:7; Revelation 22:17

Maximum Impact

We believe the timeless message of the Gospel has greater impact on people’s lives when ministry is culturally relevant, creative, and done with excellence.

Matthew 13:34; I Chronicles 12:32; Acts 17:28

Family

We believe the Church is called to equip and encourage healthy, Christ-honoring marriages and family relationships.

Ephesians 5:22-28, 6:1-4; 1 Timothy 5:8; Deuteronomy 6: 6-7

Christ-Likeness

We believe the Holy Spirit expects and empowers each of us to intentionally and continuously grow in character and service as an apprentice of Jesus.

Luke 9:23; I John 2:6; Ephesians 3:12-14, 4:13; 2 Peter 1:5-7
