ALPHA
Curious about faith?
Bring your questions.
Alpha is a relaxed, welcoming space to explore questions about life, faith, and God.
You do not need to know what you believe. You do not need to know the Bible. And you do not have to agree with everything you hear.
Come as you are, meet some people, have real conversations, and explore the Christian faith at your own pace.
Alpha begins September 20 and 23 at Rainier View.
WHAT IS ALPHA?
Alpha is a series of conversations about faith, life, and meaning.
Each gathering includes hospitality, a short Alpha talk, and open conversation around some of life's biggest questions.
Who is Jesus?
Why did he die?
How can I have faith?
Does prayer work?
How does God guide us?
Who is the Holy Spirit?
Nothing is off limits.
Alpha isn't a class where someone gives you all the answers. It is a place to listen, ask questions, share what you think, or simply take it all in.
No pressure. No judgment. No question too big or too small.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
COME AS YOU ARE
Alpha is designed to feel relaxed, friendly, and easy to walk into, even if church isn't normally your thing.
HEAR SOMETHING WORTH TALKING ABOUT
Each gathering includes an Alpha talk exploring a question about life and the Christian faith.
SAY WHAT YOU THINK
This isn't about getting the "right" answer.
Ask questions. Share your perspective. Disagree. Listen. Or just sit back and take it all in.
Our hosts are there to guide the conversation, not lecture you or debate you.
FIND REAL COMMUNITY
Alpha is built around love, listening, and laughter.
Over the course of the weeks, strangers often become friends as people have honest conversations about things that matter.
QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME HERE.
Faith doesn't have to begin with certainty. Sometimes it begins with a conversation.
