THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU HERE >>>

Church can be more than somewhere you attend. It can become a community where you are known, supported, and growing in your relationship with Jesus.

Whether you are brand new, have been coming for a while, or are still deciding what you believe, the Next Steps Experience is a relaxed evening with dinner, conversation, and people who can help you find your place and take the next step that is right for you.

SAVE THE DATE FOR SEPTEMBER 20, 2026!

You do not need to have everything figured out before you come.

WHERE DO I FIT?

Being new anywhere comes with the same big question: Where do I fit in?

We know it can feel awkward to step into something unfamiliar, and finding your place is not always easy. Maybe you have been attending for years and still feel disconnected. Maybe you are ready to grow but are unsure where to begin.

That is why we created the Next Steps Experience.

This one-evening experience is designed to help you move beyond simply attending on Sundays in a way that feels meaningful, not overwhelming. We will share a meal, introduce you to the heart and mission of Rainier View, and make room for honest conversation about faith, community, baptism, serving, and whatever your next step might be.

This is not about rushing you through a system. It is about helping you follow Jesus with people beside you.

A LIFE WITH JESUS, IS LIVED WITH OTHERS

Throughout the evening, we will explore the three parts of our mission at Rainier View.

PURSUE GOD

Discipleship simply means learning to live the way of Jesus, one step at a time.

We will talk about what it looks like to pursue God in everyday life and help you identify a meaningful next step. That might mean asking honest questions about faith, beginning a relationship with Jesus, preparing for baptism, or finding new ways to grow after following Jesus for years.

You do not have to know the whole Bible or have perfect faith. You can begin right where you are.

ENGAGE IN COMMUNITY

We believe church should be more than a room full of people who happen to gather at the same time. We all need relationships where we can be known, encouraged, and reminded that we do not have to navigate life or faith alone.

You will learn about groups, Alpha, Rooted, and other ways to build real relationships at Rainier View.

You do not earn belonging by filling a role. You are invited to be known before you are asked to be useful.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

As you grow in your relationship with Jesus and become rooted in community, you may feel ready to use your gifts to bless others.

We will help you explore what that could look like at church, in your neighborhood, at work, and at home. There is no pressure to join a team that night.

Serving is not the price of belonging. It is one way our faith takes shape through love.

COME HUNGRY. COME CURIOUS. COME AS YOU ARE.

At the Next Steps Experience, you can expect:

- Dinner around tables

- A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere

- Conversation with Rainier View pastors, leaders, and other attendees

- A clearer picture of who we are and what matters to us

- Space to ask questions without feeling embarrassed

- Help discerning your own next step

- No pressure to commit to a group or serving team that night

You can come alone, with a friend, or with your family. We will be ready to welcome you.

YOU MAY BE WONDERING

Is Next Steps only for people who are new?

Not at all. It is for anyone who wants to feel more connected or better understand how to grow at Rainier View, even if you have attended for years.

What if I am still unsure what I believe?

You are welcome. Questions are not a problem here, and you will not be expected to pretend that you are farther along than you are.

Will I be asked to volunteer?

We will talk about ways people make a difference, but you will not be pressured to sign up. We want you to experience belonging and community, then explore serving when you are ready.

Is dinner included?

Yes. Dinner is part of the experience.

Do I need to know my next step before I come?

No. Helping you discern that is part of why the evening exists.

Ready to Find Your Place?

You do not need a five-year plan. You do not need to have faith figured out. You only need to come, share a meal, meet a few people, and be open to discovering what your next faithful step could be.

There is a place for you here.
